天主！你曾恩赐玛利亚提前分享你圣子为人舍生的功德，使她不受任何罪污的沾染，由始胎就免除了原罪，配作你圣子的母亲；求你因圣母的转求，使我们也能保持心灵纯洁，堪当来到你的台前。因你的圣子、我们的主耶稣基督，他和你及圣神，是唯一天主，永生永王。亚孟。

亚当吃了树上的果子以后，上主天主呼唤他，对他说：「你在那里？」他答说：「我在乐园中听到了你的声音，就害怕起来，因为我赤身露体，遂躲藏了。」天主说：「谁告诉了你，赤身露体？莫非你吃了我禁止你吃的果子？」亚当说：「是你给我作伴的那个女人给了我那树上的果子，我才吃了。」上主天主遂对女人说：「你为什么作了这事？」女人答说：「是蛇哄骗了我，我才吃了。」
上主天主对蛇说：「因你做了这事，你在一切畜牲和野兽中，是可咒骂的；你要用肚子爬行，毕生日日吃土。我要把仇恨放在你和女人，你的后裔和她的后裔之间，她的后裔要踏碎你的头颅，你要伤害他的脚跟。」亚当给自己的妻子起名叫厄娃，因为她是众生的母亲。

到了第六个月，天使加俾额尔奉天主差遣，往加里肋亚一座名叫纳匝肋的城去，到一位童贞女那里，她已与达味家族中的一个名叫若瑟的男子订了婚，童贞女的名字叫玛利亚。天使进去向她说：「万福！充满恩宠者，上主与你同在！」【在女人中你是蒙祝福的。】她却因这话惊惶不安，便思虑这样的请安有什么意思。天使对她说：「玛利亚，不要害怕，因为你在天主前获得了宠幸。看，你将怀孕生子，并要给他起名叫耶稣。他将是伟大的，并被称为至高者的儿子，上主天主要把他祖先达味的御座赐给他。他要为王统治雅各伯家，直到永远；他的王权没有终结。」玛利亚便向天使说：「这事怎能成就？因为我不认识男人。」天使答复她说：「圣神要临于你，至高者的能力要庇荫你，因此，那要诞生的圣者，将称为天主的儿子。且看，你的亲戚依撒伯尔，她虽在老年，却怀了男胎，本月已六个月了，她原是素种不生育的，因为在天主前没有不能的事。」玛利亚说：「看！上主的婢女，愿照你的话成就于我吧！」天使便离开她去了。

Reading I
Gn 3:9-15, 20

After the man, Adam, had eaten of the tree,
the LORD God called to the man and asked him, “Where are you?”
He answered, “I heard you in the garden;
but I was afraid, because I was naked,
so I hid myself.”
Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked?
You have eaten, then,
from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!”
The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—
she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.”
The LORD God then asked the woman,
“Why did you do such a thing?”
The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”

Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned
from all the animals
and from all the wild creatures;

The man called his wife Eve,

Brothers and sisters:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

In love he destined us for adoption to himself through Jesus Christ,

The angel Gabriel was sent from God
to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,

“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.”
But she was greatly troubled at what was said
and pondered what sort of greeting this might be.

“Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God.
Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son,
and you shall name him Jesus.
He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High,
and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father,

and of his Kingdom there will be no end.”
But Mary said to the angel,
“How can this be,
since I have no relations with a man?”
And the angel said to her in reply,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.
Therefore the child to be born
will be called holy, the Son of God.
And behold, Elizabeth, your relative,
has also conceived a son in her old age,
and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren;
for nothing will be impossible for God.”
Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.

　　在人类犯下滔天罪行之后，天主并没有因此放弃对人类的慈爱，反而给失望的人类传递得救的讯息，那就是女人的后裔要战胜魔鬼：天主对蛇说：“我要把仇恨放在你和女人，你的后裔和她的后裔之间，他的后裔要踏碎你的头颅，你要伤害他的脚跟（创二15）。”那始于创世之前的“女人的后裔”的救恩计划，天主在女人——童贞玛利亚的后裔：耶稣基督身上来完成。公元前8-2年间，天主派遣天使对玛利亚说：“万福！充满恩宠者，上主与你同在！……不要害怕，因为你在天主前获得了宠幸。看，你将怀孕生子，并要给他起名叫耶稣。他将是伟大的，并被称为至高者的儿子，上主天主要把他祖先达味的御座赐给他（路一28、30-33）。”神学家视这种称呼是圣母享有特殊恩宠，无染原罪的证据。1708年，教宗克来孟第十一世将此节日订为整个教会应举行的庆节。1854年12月8日，教宗比约九世宣布“圣母始胎无染原罪”为当信的道理。1958年，圣母在法国露德显现声明自已是“始胎无玷，卒世童贞”。天主子民隆重庆祝圣母始胎无染原罪的奥迹，就是见证圣母玛利亚在她母亲胎中存在的一剎那就没有原罪。这是上主的所作所为，全能天主的特恩，使她因救主耶稣基督的功劳，预先就完全免染原罪（基督的先赎性），而成为完全圣洁无暇疵的。

　　人喜欢行善或作恶呢？天主用泥土做了人（创2:7），而人死后再归回泥土中（创3:19）。在泥土中人可以看到自己的生命与死亡。蛇在泥土中生活和爬行。牠在乐园中引诱人犯罪，人可顺从诱惑，犯罪而丧亡；但人也可以抗拒诱惑，服从上主，因而获得生命。人的内心相似泥土，蕴含着生命与死亡，善与恶。人行善或作恶，便看人自己的抉择了。
　　原祖父母的经验告诉我们，跟随诱惑，作恶犯罪容易，行善守法却艰难。这也是我们今天的境况，更是历代人类的写照。不过，借着基督的救恩，我们却可以克服罪恶，避恶行善，成为圣洁无瑕疵的人（弗1:3-4）。
　　为了让玛利亚配作圣子的母亲，天主恩赐她提前分享了耶稣的救恩，使她不受任何罪污，由始胎就免除了原罪。

　　上主！今天我们庆祝圣母无玷始胎节日，求你使我们学习圣母的榜样，全心响应你的召唤（路1:38），保持心灵纯洁，堪当来到你的台前，分享耶稣的救恩。阿孟。
